The LB Finance ‘A’ team led by Angelo Perera and Fairfirst Insurance led by Lakshan Perera, lifted the ‘CDB’ Trophy, as they emerged winners of the ‘MCA Open Sixes’ Cricket Tournament 2018. The finals of the tier ‘A’ & tier ‘B’ segments, was played at the MCA Grounds on Sunday (09th September).
The tournament saw the participation of 69 teams; 21 teams in tier ‘A’ (turf), and 48 teams in tier ‘B’ (matting). The matches were played from the 07th to the 9th of September. LB Finance ‘A’ team beat Commercial Credit in the tier ‘A’ final, while Fairfirst Insurance beat Allianz Insurance in the tier ‘B’ final.
