Royal youngsters come out on top in both legs as they managed to hold off a resilient Trinity side at the Pallekele Rugby Stadium.
The U-16 match first kicked off as the Royal youngsters came into this match after a narrow 21-19 win in the first leg.
It was Royal who struck first as they successfully put over a penalty kick to get the first points of the game.
Both teams continued to look strong as the Trinity Juniors came close to the opposition try line but Royal held on strong and the first half ended with Royal leading 3-0.
The second half was pretty even until Royal broke through the Trinity defence to get the goal right between the posts.

The Simithrarachchi Trophy match advantage was again with the Royal youngsters, who came into this match with a 14-08 win from the first leg.
However after a very even start it were the Lions who got the first points of the game as they put away a penalty successfully to get 3 points.
The Royalists replied in strong fashion however as they broke through the Trinity defence to get the first try of the game.
Just before the end of the first half, a yellow card was shown to the Trinity number 6 and the Royal youngsters decided to go for the 3 points which they put away comfortably, ending the first half 08-03 to Royal.
Royal continued the second half on the front foot as they got their second try.
Trinity, resilient as ever got their first try of the game but opted not to take the conversion but still did not have enough time to make a comeback before the referee blew for full time with victory for the Royal youngsters.
