The Peterite Under 14 team dominated proceedings against the Wesley College Under 14 side, as the Petes comprehensively defeated double blues 28 points to 07 and the Under 16 game ended in a 05 all exciting draw.
Under 16 game kicked off first as both teams dished out some superb rugby and the game ended in a draw, with both teams scoring one unconverted try each. Both teams had opportunities to win the game but none of them grabbed those chances as this cliff-hanger ended 05 points to the both sides.
The Under 14 game followed. This game was a one sided affair.
St. Peter’s dominated the game, as they dished out their brand of rugb,y which is exciting to see and the junior Petes managed to score 04 tries while Wesley scored one consolation try as the game ended, giving the Petes a much deserved victory.
St. Peter’s will meet Dharmaraja College and Wesley College will play D.S. Senanayake College next week.
