DSI Volleyball Championship selections of the North Western Province concluded in the previous weeks.
Kurunegala District
Nammuwawa Muslim Maha Vidyalaya became the champions of the U19 boys’ section while Bandaranayake Navodya School, Hettuwewa won the championship of the U17 boys’ section.
And girls from Sri Sarananda Maha Vidyalaya, Kuliyapitiya clinched the championship of the U19 girls’ section while Kuliyapitiya Maha Vidyalaya became the champions of the U17 age group.
Puttalama District
The Volleyball giants from Nattandiya; Dhamissara College dominated the boys’ section as they seized the championships of the U19 and U17 age groups and runners up of the U15 age group. St. Xavier’s College, Marawila ended up being the champions of U15 and U13 age groups and runners up of the U17 age group.
In the girls’ section Anamaduwa Central College became the champions of the U19 age group and the runners up of the U17 and U15 age groups respectively.
