Flamboyant opening batsman Niroshan Dickwella has been picked up by the Dhaka Dynamites for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season five.
The Dhaka Dynamites management confirmed the inclusion of Dickwella in their squad on Tuesday, with the youngster set to join his idol and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, who has confirmed his participation in the BPL for the Dynamites.
Asela Gunaratne was also picked by the Dynamites last month who have recruited nine foreign players so far. The other players been picked so far are , Shahid Afridi, Shane Watson, Sunil Narine, Mohammed Amir, Evin Lewis and Rovman Powell.
The 24-year old left-handed wicket keeper batsman has represented Sri Lanka in all three formats while he’s currently involved in the ongoing home series against Zimbabwe.
He has played 8 T20I’s so far averaging just over 26 while he has an impressive strike of just under 150.
