Kingswood manhandle hapless Lumbini
Kingswood College were too good for a resource-less Lumbini College outfit as they ran through them by a score line of 60 (9T 6C 1P) – 08 (1T 1P).
Kingswood College took an early lead as Heshan Sanan along with their instrumental fly half Ranaweera dominated the field of play with their outstanding pace and creativity to carry the lads from Kandy to 29-05 lead at lemons.
They seemed to leave no room for respite for the Lumbini lads from the restart as they went on to control proceedings during the second 40. Lumbini despite creating a few openings were crippled by their own inabilities with countless handling errors paired with infringements. As a result Kingswood keep their title hopes alive in this year’s Plate competition along with three other potential contenders.
