Zahira College Rugby coach Shamly Nawaz spoke to ThePapare.com on their entry to the top flight of the Schools’ Rugby League. Zahira played in the B division during the last three years but have still managed to put on a stellar performance in the A Division this year.
Although they have won only two of the five games they’ve played, the brand of rugby on display by them has been sensational under coach Nawaz. As a result Zahira will play against Isipathana, Royal, St. Joseph’s and either St. Peter’s or St. Anthony’s in the second round Cup competition.
