The Sri Lanka sevens team is currently in Hong Kong ahead of World Sevens Series qualifiers which will commence this Friday.
The team poses for a photo with the legendary sevens duo; King of sevens Waisale Serevi (Fiji) and Ben Gollings (England) after a training session in Hong Kong.
Gollings, the former England player also coached the Sri Lanka sevens team in 2012. He is the all-time top points scorer with 2652 points including 220 tries in his career.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka played with South Korea and Tonga in a warm up game, Inthi Marikar, the high performance director of Sri Lanka Rugby, said “It was good to try few things out against an opponent, we started slowly but finished well.”

Tuskers left the island early morning ahead of the World Series Qualifiers in Hong Kong, which will be held from 7th – 9th April 2017..
Also former captain Sudarshana Muthuthantri said that “We had two good warm-ups and we have a good chance of creating an upset on Friday and the boys have so much confident now.”
