Prince of Wales College demolished a much fancied Royal College by innings & 54 runs in a Singer-cup group B encounter which concluded today at Royal grounds.
The visitors resumed day two on 307 for 6 and went on to score 322 as they declared their first innings. Dilanka Maduranga and Vishwa Chathuranga both made magnificent centuries to give a 187 run lead for the Cambrians. Himesh Ramanayake finished with a 5 wicket haul for the home team. Royal College fell apart in the first innings for 137 and they managed only 131 in the second inside 46 overs. Kaumal Nanayakkara rattled the hosts with four scalps to follow up his 3 wickets in the first innings.

Trinity College, Kandy won the toss and elected to bat as they managed to post 238 for 7 wickets in 79 overs. Poorna Wanasekara made a solid half-ton, while Lisura Veenath grabbed a 3 wicket haul for Isipathana College in a traditional encounter which began today at Asgiriya grounds.

The lads from Gampaha got knocked out for a hapless 158, however they came back strong to restrict St. Joseph Vaz College to 89 for 9 wickets as Arosha Madushan completed a 5 wicket haul for Bandaranayake College.
