The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation has put in place plans to set up the final pool for the Under 19 Asian Volleyball Championships which are set to kick-off in Myanmar in March.
The final squad will be selected from the said pool.
A squad of twenty nine has been selected in anticipation of the Championships to be held between the 28th of March and the 5th of April.
As per Volleyball Federation Secretary A.S. Nalaka, the pool is already engaging in practices at a training camp in Heiyanthuduwa.
Naththandiya Dammissara and Wennappuwa St. Joseph Vaz, the Runners-Up and Champions of the DSI Super Sports Schools Championships, dominate the pool with six players and seven players respectively.
