Prince of Wales’ College vs S. Thomas’ College
The Thomian grit prevailed on Friday as the school by sea put up a stunning rearguard batting effort against Prince of Wales’ College at Mount Lavinia.
After being 49 for 3, the home team was bowled out for a mere 138 in reply to the Cambrian first-innings score of 305/8. The Cambrian skipper Vishva Chathuranga enforced the follow-on immediately. The Thomians battled for 77 overs losing only 5 wickets to bat out the day and force a draw.

Stand-in skipper and left-hander Shehzaad Ameen stroked an excellent 76 as D.S Senanayake College picked up first-innings points against Trinity College, Kandy at Bloomfield grounds.
After posting a reasonable first-innings score of 208, the home team restricted to visitors to 181 thanks to some excellent bowling by Pasindu Adithya and Muditha Lakshan. The hosts managed to capitalize on the first-innings lead to bat out the rest of second day to end the game as a drawn encounter.

Maris Stella College vs President’s College
Dushan Guruge’s excellent knock of 87 and a few cameos helped Maris Stella College, Negombo take first-innings lead in their drawn encounter against President’s College, Kotte at Surrey Village grounds in Maggona.
Sanka Poorna was the other star performer for the lads from Negombo as he grabbed 5 wickets and scored a vital 40 with the bat to help the visitors post a substantial 298 in reply to the home team, President College, Kotte first innings score of 205.

St. Sylvester’s College registered a massive innings and 193-run win over Anuradhapura Central College at Peradeniya University grounds.
After bowling out the visitors for only 69 in the first innings yesterday, The St. Sylvester’s bowling lineup led by Thusith De Zoysa decimated the Anuradhapura Central batting lineup for just 22 in their second innings. De Zoysa ended with 11 wickets for the game.
