The Western Province Under 19 Hockey tournament, organized by the Western Province Hockey Association, commenced on the 05th of June 2016 at the St. Peter’s College Grounds, Colombo.
This year, eight boys’ teams and eight girls’ teams participated in the tournament. The group matches were concluded on day one, the 5th of June, while the quarter finals were worked off yesterday. The semifinals and finals of the tournament are scheduled to be held on the 11th of June.
