South Africa have named their squad that will tour Sri Lanka this month for five ODIs and three T20Is. A notable omission from the list is premier fast bowler Dale Steyn, who still needs “about 3 weeks of rehabilitation” according to the team management.

Morne Morkel, who was last seen limping off the field in a Champions Trophy match, makes a comeback as does young wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock. Imran Tahir and Wayne Parnell were picked in the Twenty20 squad, which also included the uncapped David Wiese. JP Duminy is also set to make his T20 comeback.

The first ODI will be played in Colombo on July 20 and the tour will end with the third T20 in Hambantota on August 6.
