The 26th consecutive Carrom Federation cup will be held at CFSL, Maharagama, from 13th July 2013. The Carrom Federation is in process of recieveing entries for the annual event which is inclusive of single and double entry matches.
“Candidates who are interested in competing for the mega event has the opportunity to handover their applications till 29th of June.” Rohini Mathiaz,General Secretary, Carrom Federation stated speaking to ThePapare.com. Furthermore, “as to many requests made by the candidates, we are limiting our tournament only for weekends. Also we will not be organizing any kind of prize giving as we do not have any sponsors. The Carrom Federation has had no sponsor for the federation cup for 25 events”. Mrs. Mathiaz stated.
The Federation Cup will be played with singles/doubles for men and women along with mixed doubles and veterans’ singles for over 40’s.
