As rain started pelting Longyou in China’s Zhejiang province, leading Sri Lankan international racing team EZY’s Mike Young and his navigator Malcom Reed will change their initial plans and get ready for the tough conditions of Rally China, described by all drivers as the toughest leg of the Asia Pacific Championship (APRC) that’s starts today.

Talking after yesterday’s recce and shake down, EZY racing driver  Mike Young mentioned that the first run was good and it will be a good test because stage one will be pretty much the same course. We didn’t get to test the mud resistant tyres but I think we’ll probably go with them on race day. Young went on to say that the gravel stage was not too bad, it was difficult due to the rainy weather conditions and the wind.
