After the incidents that surrounded the assault of referee Charith Kodagoda in the game between St. Josephs and Dharmaraja College, ThePapare learnt that the Referees Association had called the Master in Charge of St. Anthony’s College.

The SLSRFA had informed that they would not be participating in refereeing any of the school games from Sunday(2nd June).
The game between St. Anthony’s and Science College was postponed due to the unavailability of match officials.
A special meeting will be held today (4th June) with both the SLSRFA and the Referees Association to take a decision on the above matter, and come to a mutual agreement on the safety of the referee.
