USJP & UOC stole the show where UOC dominates the overall Leaderboard with 180 points and USJP lagging close with 162 points in todays swimming encounter. UOP, UOM & SUSL who were although far behind shared slots in the result sheet with some notable performances.
It was a welcome sight to see a bright sunny morning after the past few days of gloomy wet weather. Therefore it was a good day for the final stage of the swimming games at the pool of USJP. The proceedings commenced with the longer versions the game testing the undergraduates for endurance. It was evident from the beginning that USJP dominated the men’s arena while UOC did the Women’s events. Gradually as the day progressed, so did the speed of the events introducing the spectators to the faster formats of swimming events which was indeed an adrenaline rush.
Nevertheless the two beasts UOC and USJP still continued to reign over the top rankings of women’s and men’s events respectively, throughout the day.
At the end of the day, it was intriguing to learn that an astonishing 14 records were broken in todays swimming competitions. An overview of those records is shown below.

USJP managed to bag a total of 15 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze medals winning almost all of the men’s competition except for just one, and UOC won 5 Gold Medals, 12 Silver Medals and 2 bronze medals becoming the overall champions.
