In the highly competitive university sporting arena the 11th Sri Lanka University Games or better known at SLUG is scheduled to get under way from 2-12th May 2013
A plethora of 21 sports will be contested by 14 universities at many different venues in the city. The Moratuwa University will be hosting the event.
Athletes selected here in will go on to represent Sri Lanka Universities at the World University Games in Moscow – 2014.
It will be conducted in grand style with President Mahinda Rajapaksa set to open the event on 2nd May at the University of Moratuwa. Closing ceremony and awards will be on the 12 May 2013.
