The match resumed at 10.30 am today and Kingswood needed another 70 runs to get the lead with 6 wickets in hand.
Kingswood lost their 5th wicket very early as Thrindu Liyanage was dismissed by Dineth Lanka for 39 runs. However Prabarth Jayawickrama and the skipper Kasun Bandara managed to take the total over 100. Dineth did not allow any other batsman to score over 10 runs. Kasun Bandara scored unbeaten 30 runs. Kingswood 1st innings was limited to 121 runs after 73.3 overs. Dineth Lanka took 4 wickets for 21 runs while skipper Nuwan Karunarathna took 2 wickets for 24.

Before the tea break Rajans openers Kavindu thimudu and Rumesh Ranasinghe started the innings, but Kingswood spinners lead by Tharindu Liyanage did not allow them to get into double figures. Once Rajans were in a great trouble when the scoreboard displayed 40/7. Tharusha Weragoda and Aravinda Withanarachchi scored a 44 runs partnership to get them out of the trouble where Tharusha scored an unbeaten 38 runs. Chandimal De Silva who scored 27 in the 1st innings also scored 22 runs. Tharindu Liyanage again took 4 wickets only for 22 runs. Supun Bandara chipped in with 2 wickets for 20. Match abandoned due to bad light at 3.30 pm.
