Guy de Alwis Memorial Cricket Match on March 17

A cricket match in memory of Guy de Alwis, a former wicket-keeper batsman who represented the Sri Lanka National team at both Test and One Day cricket during the 1980s, will be played, commencing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, at the Sinhalese Sports Club grounds in Colombo.

Several leading cricketers of the past, including members of the 1996 World Cup winning team, led by Arjuna Ranatunga, will participate in this 20-over match against an SSC team, featuring former international players, led by Sidath Wettimuny.
