St Anthony’s College faced a splendid batting performance from Moratu Vidyalaya today in an under 19 inter school cricket match at Moratuwa.
Moratu Widyalaya who entered to bat first scored 180 all out in 60.1 overs. Ushen Fernando and Pathum De Silva scored 32 and 31 runs while Lahiru Weerawardhane added 29 runs. Kawinda Udapola took on the destroyer role with 5 wickets while Sachin Bulathsinghela took 3.
St. Anthnny’s College in their first innings were 67 runs for a loss of 7 wickets in 30 overs with the contribution given by Harsha Ebert (20*). Shanka Perera and Pathum De Silva representing the host school chipped in with 2 wickets each.
