Sri Lanka Cricket announced a short while ago that former national pace ace Chaminda Vaas has been appointed as the National Fast Bowling coach of the Sri Lanka National Team on a two year contract.
Chaminda Vaas is easily the most penetrative and successful new-ball bowler Sri Lanka have had, and he has served his country well.
He will lead the Fast Bowling Coaching unit which will also include Champaka Ramanayake and Anusha Samaranayake.
