Lyceum International School – Wattala vs Lyceum International School – Panadura
The girls from Wattala won the jump ball and scored in the first few possessions making sure that they settled into the game early on and they continued to dominate the game till the end. They scored a game best twelve points in the quarter while their counterparts from Panadura managed to score only two points for the maiden quarter.
The domination continued as the girls from Panadura did not score any points in the second quarter. They lost touch in all departments as the opponents scored eight points in the second quarter.
The girls from Panadura were lucky enough to score another two points in the third quarter and that was all they managed to score for the entire game as they failed score points in the final quarter as well.
The girls from Wattala were simply too good in every context as they won the game comfortably.

Royal Institute vs Alethea International School
The lads from Royal Institute went on a scoring rampage right from the word go in the game as they diminished the hopes of a victory of their counter-parts. They scored a game best of eighteen points in the maiden quarter. The Alethea boys only managed to score four points in reply as the pressure really got to them.
Royal Institute sealed the fate of the game as they went on to score thirteen points in the second quarter, fifteen points in the third quarter and added another seventeen points in the final quarter.
The lads from Alethea International were tortured mercilessly at the hands of their counterparts. A lack of experience and proper plannning in all departments drowned them and they fell to a heavy defeat.
