16 teams advanced to the pre-quarter final round of ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 15 division two inter schools cricket tournament.
77 teams were participated for the first round of tournament league basis into 13 groups and 40 teams advanced to the second round. Those 40 teams played league basis into 8 groups and champions and runner up teams in every groups were qualified to pre-quarter final round.
Depending joint champion St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa (B) advanced to the pre quarter final round.
Newcomers to division two Rajasinghe Central Hanwella (champion of division three last year), Royal College Monaragala (runner up of division three in last year), De La Salle College Colombo advanced second round as group champions. Newcomers to division two St. Joseph’s College Wattala advanced to the pre-quarter final round as group champion in second round.
Parakrama MV Bandarawatte Gampaha, St. Sebastian’s College (B) Moratuwa, D.S. Senanayake College (B) Colombo, Vidyaloka College Galle, Mahanama College Panadura, Nalanda College (B) Colombo, St. Joseph’s College Wattala and Royal College (B) Colombo advanced to the pre quarter final round as group champions in second round.
