Ransilu Jayathilake brings home his 27th international medal from the Commonwealth Power Lifting Championship Vancouver, Canada.
Alongside that he also helps produce the 1st ever Junior Power Lifting Medal under his coaching to Dhanushka Kodikara in the 93KG Category.
Ransilu Jayathilake a man with a heart which pumps more blood has made winning a habit from his days at Kingswood College. He left the nation on the 1st of December with the assurance of bringing down at least a bronze from Canada at the Commonwealth Power Lifting Championship. Made history proving that confidence matters. Ransilu is the only Sri Lankan to reach a total of 700kg & becomes the overall Champion in the 120KG category.
Ransilu also becomes the reason for another Gold medal to Sri Lanka. Under his tutelage ex-rugby player from St.Peters College Dhanushka Kodikara who competed in 93KG category also bags a medal to become the 1st ever Gold medalist for Sri Lanka in a Junior Commonwealth Power Lifting Championship.
