The fan favourite Bradby Shield encounter between Royal College and Trinity College is set to take place on the 24th of August and the 7th of September 2024.
This time round, the first leg is set to be played in Colombo as favourites Royal host Trinity at home.
The return fixture is set to be played in Kandy on the 7th of September as Trinity will be hoping to seek to win the shield after a lapse of 10-years, having last won in 2014 (2016-draw).
The coveted Shield encounter, a double-legged series, has been played on 77 occasions as Trinity have won 39 times and Royal 36 times with 2 draws.
Trinity last won the Shield under Skipper Tarinda Ratwatta in 2014, while Royal are the current holders, having won last year under the captaincy of Randul Bandara in 2023.
