Central province Kung-Fu and Wushu Association will be hosting the 5th Annual provincial Wushu Tournament in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, December 07th, 2013 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm at the University of Peradeniya gymnasium under the patronage of the Wushu Federation of Sri Lanka.
The competitors will join the battle that will consist of Taolu and Sanda under different weight categories. The Association has received applications from numerous Schools in the provinces of Central, Sabaragamuwa and Wayaba and more than 200 competitors were qualified under the guidelines of International and national Wushu Associations to showcase their talents this Saturday.
The competition has produced number of national players who competed and rose to fame in the international arena. “We anticipate that this tournament will be a great gathering place to make new friends and renew old friendships, exchange skills, encourage teamwork, improve together, and further promote the sport in Sri Lanka” Mr. B.
