The 59th annual 2-day cricket encounter between Isipathana College & Thurstan College which was scheduled to take place at the SSC grounds on the 15th and 16th has been postponed to a new date due to the prevailing situation in the country.
The new dates for the encounter are the 25th and 26th of July as Isipathana College captained by Wicketkeeper Thinula Liyanage and Thurstan College captained by allrounder Bawantha Jayasinghe will lock horns hoping to bring pride to their schools. Along with this, the 48th limited overs encounter between St. Joseph’s College & St. Peter’s College which was preponed to the 15th of July has been postponed and the new date is yet to be announced.
