Thomians’ take the wind out of the Royal sails

The 2^nd Royal-Thomian  Sailing encounter held on 10^TH October at the CMYC Club Bolgoda saw the Thomians  sail to a glorious victory both in the individual as well as team races held that day. 

Royal  too put on a commendable display of technique and teamwork  but were  regrettably outclassed by their opponents who sailed to convincing victory that day.  The Thomians were led by Kethaka Weerasooriya (Captain) whilst  Royal was led by Sunaragiri Liyanage.

The final results of the Individual race with 25 boats out on the water, saw 3 Thomians,  take the 3 top spots.  Kethaka Weerasooriya  – 1^st place with the Gold,  Zai  Pestonjee –  2^nd place with the Silver &  Jordan Bolling  3^rd place with the Bronze medal.  The team races comprised of 2 races  with an A Team  &  B Team  ,  both of which were won by St  Thomas’College.
