The first day of the International Schools Athletic Championship (ISAC) was on the 4th of March 2016 from 7:30am onwards. They started off with a grand opening ceremony, followed by the lighting of the torch and a series of other events.
An enormous crowd was present in order to cheer for the respective schools and a total of 34 events were finalized within the day. Each event consisted of heat, semifinal and final. Three promising athletes were able to break past records, set their own and make history.
