It was a dull draw today as Mahinda College and Dharmaraja College ended their interschool match in Kandy.
Dharmaraja College resuming their 1st innings on 40 runs with three batsmen back in the pavilion went on to score only 87 runs. The home team could not cope up with the disciplined bowling of Mahinda as they lost 7 wickets in 40 over's today. Chandimal de Silva was the only batsman who showed positive signs with the bat as he made 26 runs.
Pasindu Dilshan and Chalana de Silva were the main wicket takers for Mahinda College as they finished with 3 wickets each.
Mahinda College batting in their 2nd innings were 166 for the loss of 5 wickets at the close of play. Chanaka de Silva top score for the visitors with 49 runs while Nirwantha Thiksila ended his innings on 47.
