At the tail end of a fantastic season for Royal College there has been much debate on which Royal side was the best college has produced. The team of 2009 is the first Royal team to win every single game of their season since the outfit of 1988.

Over the years we have come to expect hard fought aggressive encounters when Royal visits the lions den that is Bogambara. This year was no exception and saw Royal come out on top for a hard fought victory over a spirited Trinity team.

Like most followers of the inter-school rugby season I was thrilled to hear that the league tournament was going ahead. At the time I had no idea what the exact details were and naively assumed that tough decisions that needed to be made had been made. Sadly this solution was not going to be any better than the previous decision made by the SLSRA to scrap the league tournament.
