Date- 13th & 14th February Venue – Royal Complex Time 8.00 am Onwards
Defending champions Science College will once again look to retain the All Island U18 School 7s title at the Royal Complex this weekend. Last year Science beat Kingswood College 24 – 07 in the finals. Their senior men (U20) could only finish as plate winners a week ago despite being favorites to claim the Cup. However, S. Thomas who were triumphant after 22 years in sevens will not compete at the tournament this weekend.
28 schools will compete in 8 groups and the winner of each group will qualify to play in the Cup quarter finals. The losers of the Cup quarter finals will compete in the plate semi-finals.
Wesley College won the Plate championship last year beating Royal College 27 – 07 and Dharmaraja College thrashed St. Peters in the Bowl final 35 – 00 whilst Lumbini won the Shield with a 24 – 00 over Royal Panadura.
